Puppy Love

posted by Momo Fali on April 21, 2009

After one sleepless night, one ruined laptop cord, wood floors which have sustained three pees, two poops and one vomit, and after our 11 year old dog, Blue, has done a lot of growling and huffing about because Daisy thinks her ears are a chew toy….it was especially nice to wake up today and see them being snuggle buddies.

Daisy is lucky that she’s so cute.

Note: In the time it took me to post this, I’ve cleaned up one more pee and a vomit. She’s really, really lucky that she’s so cute.

She really is cute, and obviously very lucky. Hang in there and good luck!

So adorable! Our black Lab mix gnawed through a laptop cord, rabbit style, when he was a baby. Indy also nibbled my husband’s mouse cord in two once while he was using it. I laughed, my husband didn't. 😉

Give both Blue and Daisy some ear scritches from me! <3

Now I’m REALLY glad you got a puppy before we ever would!! I forgot about all the chewing. Bless you, Mo – you have more in you than I do!

    She is adorable, though.

I don’t envy your time dealing with the training curve, but she is OH so cute!

Looks like Daisy’s sneaking a snuggle there.

I can just see her scootching closer and closer to the sleeping Blue. So cute!

    I’m still jealous.

    I’m nuts, I know.

FYI, for me to purchase a universal laptop cord at Best buy, it’s $36.70. For YOU to purchase it, it’s $89.99 and up.

I bet it would cost less for me to BUY it, and SHIP it to you.

Let me know if you need ANOTHER one, but let’s hope Daisy learned the first time 😉

You’re stimulating the economy by purchasing caseloads of “Resolve.” Matter of fact, I may just buy a few shares of Reckitt Benckiser while Daisy’s still a puppy.

There’s a reason puppies are so incredibly adorable…

I don’t know if there is a way to avoid most of this part of puppyness, but if there isn’t, I’m not sure we’ll ever have a puppy.

My wife would be so sad to hear the news.

    Yours is cute, though!

Oh, she sure is cute, But cute enough to poop in the house????

  • Angella

    So stinking cute. Sigh.

Making me extra itchy to get ours in two weeks, even with the pee and vomit.

    Love that photo.

Daisy is adorable! I know you wrote below your really busy, however, I’m of the belief there’s always room for more puppy love.

She will keep you on your toes!

Your dog is adorable! You should let her poop and pee and chew and vomit wherever she wants. I mean, do you really have that much else to do anyway? Just get ‘er done.

puppies are so much work, but so fun!

You must be a glutten for punishment.

  • Amy

HAHA! I just posted about our new “puppy” Daisy who does NONE of that! 😉

I got Roxie when I was 35, and it felt like having a newborn again. Blech! But she’ll (and you’ll) be fine. Consistent training!
    (Maybe Blue will help)

Didn’t anyone ever teach you? Dogs are outside animals.

  • Kat

Hope she learns to let you know when she needs to go outside quickly!

  • Heather

    Vomit? I hope she’s ok.

  • turnitupmom

OMG! My life seems so simple and dull compared to yours. Awww…absolutely adorable doggy! How do you ever find the time to write?? I applaud you!

They both are so cute. We have two Labs too… one black, one chocolate.

And again, this is why I don’t have a dog:)
    But they are cute.

  • Laski

Clearly, there is a reason doggies are so dang cute . . . doggies and babies.
