A Different Kind of Pair

posted by Momo Fali on August 20, 2012

It turns out that if your kid suffers from hearing loss and he’s playing Draw Something, he may turn to you and say, “Mom, I can’t draw this because it’s inappropriate.”

To which you might reply, “Why? What is it?”

And, you’ll be completely surprised when he says, “It’s Uggs. You know…like the boobs.”

    I don’t know… my boobs are uggs.

Oh, mine too! More like ughs, though.

One of my favorite moments of all time was when I FaceTimed him and he started freaking out that I was the drawing guy. Just for the record…

I hope I get the word Uggs next time I play DrawSomething with him.

      Um, yeah. It’s your turn.

The hits keep coming. You need to work on that book of son stories in your quiet season, from mid-September until, uh, end-of-September…?

Hahahaha! You said, “Quiet season.” Hahahaha! *sucks thumb*

Your comment section is just as entertaining as the post! Love it.

So, I am curious which part he has been mishearing–because it could go two ways–“Uggs” instead of “jugs” or “boobs” instead of “boots” 😉

(for the record, this was way funnier in my head but I’m rolling with it)
