Bird is the Word

Last night, my kids and I were traveling in our car when I looked into my rear-view mirror to see a small truck pull onto the street behind me. He had to turn left to get there and as his green pick-up crossed the other lane, a car going in the opposite direction nearly slammed right into him. The white compact car had to slam on his brakes and, rightly so, also slammed on his horn.

The green pick-up driver responded as anyone who is clearly at fault should do, which was to stick his hand out of his window and flip-off the driver of the little, white car.

As I watched the scene unfold in my mirror I said, “I’m sure! That pick-up truck driver just stuck his middle finger out at the guy who didn’t do anything wrong!”

And, as we passed through a busy intersection I turned to see my son in the back seat with his middle finger out of the window as he looked at me and said, “You mean, like this?”

You know, they teach Flipping Off Asshats-101 here in driver’s ed. You would have saved yourself $$$, if you lived in Jersey.

I would love to see the face of the person on the receiving end!!! HAHAHA.

HA! That’s awesome. My daughter likes to do our bike hand signals with us, I guess this should be a reminder to cover her eyes while she’s in the car.

I will now have the Family Guy episode with Peter singing that song in my head for the rest of the day! Thanks. 🙂 And as for the jackass in the pickup truck, hopefully karma will get him soon. Have inadvertently taught my kids some bad words while driving…this made me laugh out loud!

I love this! Well, not because of any social strife/stigma this may cause for you and not because I know he will never un-learn this no matter how hard you try but because my son totally did this too… *groan*

I’m glad no one was hurt, and your son is ALWAYS so good for a laugh!

Oh Oh Oh I am laughing but it’s really NOT funny. What to do What to do……..sit down at dinner and talk about it some more. …..that’s all I can say. Those little stinkers know it bothers us so of course they do it.
I have seen some crazy drivers lately. Today I heard a siren. Me and all the others at the intersection stopped to let it pass…….all accept one who decided to run a red light and drive right in front of the ambulance. I was holding my breath with my chin on the ground. Thank god no one got hurt……I am sure the ambulance driver had his fist clenched and finger twitching on that one. Must be this CRAZY Ohio weather. Good luck. How about finger shaking. That’s not so bad……
